Yes I am crazy! Dale's birthday is in September. While I should be done WAY before then I am working on this beautiful pair of Kilt Hose for him. A bit of a challenge as I have never done such a complicated sock but so far so good. I love the fact that changes to the cables can be modified and that the designer gives you several options. The top is knit in the round then picked up for the picket stitch and garter. The whole thing is then turned inside out to knit the body so when you turn the cuff down the knotwork shows.
I am just a few rows into the body so you can't see the body cables too well yet. This is a back view.
And this is a side view. So far a fun knit! I'll make sure to post pictures as I go. Here is hoping he keeps me around after these! LOL
